Mon 23rd Mar 2020 Naas (IRE) 1400 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (Plus
3 Poetic Flare (IRE) 2 9-7J S Bolger K J Manning
"Only three real prospects in here this one, then the two at the bottom of the weights, Marketta and Forever My Girl. They both look capable of winning and are subeject to encouraging reports but the messages about this onen are that he needs further, naturally, but they have targetted this track as it has got a stiff uphill finish and they're expecting that to suit. Is forward, is well related and is fancied to win this. "

"From the Johnny Murtagh yard that provided a decent early mark for us at Dundalk on Friday, Lady Maura who landed good ew support at 8/1 and this one will be a little bigger than that. That said a much more competitive event but good vibes about this one and although not an ideal draw, the race has been won by similar draws in two of the past three years when the ground has been like this so no forlorn hope by any stretch of the imagination. Big run expected and although hugely respectful of both Hong Kong and Lustown Baba, this filly quietly fancied to land ew bets here at 11/1 (Paddy Power, BOG) and FOUR places."

"Made a good impression here on chasing debut, albeit against other mares. This time is thrown in against the geldings and although the stablemate is favoturite, amd may well win this, we dont want to be taking 7/4 or 2/1 about him when we can get 16s about this mare who is expected to be in the money, at the very least. You can get 11/1 without the favourite with B365 and that is a stonking EW bet as if the favourite wins, you effectively can finish fourth and still collect. However, we're backing her at 16s ew here."

2 Crazyheart (IRE) P Nolan S F O'Keeffe
"There are three big players in this event here and despite the size of the field it will be a suprise if the prize doesnt go to one of them. Huge respect for the Henry De Bromkhead horse, Kavanaghs Corner who beat this fella last time out and is fancied again and it pains us to oppose him having provided a nice winner yesterday and we're already on board with another of his today and the other one that is fancied is Wrong Direction, ex hunter chaser who ran the runaway Foxhunter winner from last week, It Came to Pass, very close when they met in October. Both of them will come in for support but we prefer this fella from Paul Nolans yard. He is better pff at the weights with Kavanaghs and is expected tp pick him off here, as a result. Will be a nice EW price and you vcan get 8/1 anf FIVE places with Unibet at present."

"A modest 3yo handicap but good news in from the Jonny Murtagh yard that indicates this filly was a little unfortunate last time and has shown significant imporvement since that first run of the season.. They say the run has blown away the conbwebs and although hugely respectful of the other good message in the race, for Talking Tough, this filly is quietly fancied, despite a modest draw, to land good ew support here at 8/1 with Bet365."

"From the Henry De Bromhead yard and, well, we know for sure that his horses are in good order after an excellent Cheltenham! This one showed he had tons of ability when winning first time up here and he beat a decent sort or two that day. Today he takes on another decent sort in Flower Garland and the unknown quantity, to some degree, in Joseph O'Brien's Line Judge. Our sources tell us this fella has improved again and is expected to keep his unbeaten record with another win here and will perhaps move onto something better after this. Fancied to win here. "

1 The Ferry Master (IRE) 7 11-2A M Thomson Ryan Mania
"The Irish horse is the one to beat here and Lord knows that has been the case for the past week or so but on this occasion, we have every reason to believe that this one of Sandy Thomson's can do the job and with all due respect, SRB Crawford is no Elliot or Mullins. Quietly fancied to cause a shock here."

4 Bluefortytwo J Ewart B S Hughes
"Typically trappy handicap hurdle but the vibes for this one of James Ewart's indicate a big run is on the cards. The downside to the message is that, from our perspective, the yard dont' appear to be in the best of form though they are of the opinion they are starting to see the horses improve. Has live prospects if able to run to his best and that is what's expected of him here. Has Lucky Flight and Henri Le Bon to beat but is fancied to run them close and is worth a modest interest here."

5 Captain Drake (IRE) 7 10-7H Fry Bryan Carver
"Fascinating staying contest in which we have enjoyed plenty of success over the years and plenty of old friends in here but the vibes for this one of Harry Fry's is the deciding factor. From a yard that have had a difficult period this year unable to really get any consistency into their horses they are just emerging from one such period and with a winner this week, they're confident of a huge run from this lightly raced chaser. He has the Nicholls horse, Truckers Lodge to beat but, while respectful of that one upon which we may well have a small saver, this one of Harry Fry's gets the nod and is the subject of excellent reports from a shrewd judge. Wellf ancied EW here at 9/1 and FIVE places at Skybet. 0.5pt EW."

"Comes from the same race that produced two Festival winners this week when finishing third to Imperial Aura and Simply The Betts. He didn't get the trip that day and stepped back two furlongs to win last time. A further step back another two not expected to inconvenience him here and wel fancied to win this. Muratello a potential threat but this fella taken to win this."

3 Mcfabulous (IRE) P F Nicholls H Cobden
"This event, intended to be the precursor to the Imperial Cup last week at Sandown has been carried over to today and if anything, this fella will be very much better suited to this track than he would have been on the heavy gorund and undulations of Sandown. A winner of the Champion bumper at Aintree last term and, significantly also a winner on another easy track at Market Rasen last time will also like the slightly better ground here and, considered well handicapped, he is expected to win this. There are a few dangers, notably Severano, Keen On and Eden Da Houx but nothing that warrants any deviation from the theme that they will be very disappointed at Ditcheat, if this fella is beaten here. Trip, track and, providing not a deluge overnight, ground too, all in his favour and expected to win this."
